It’s not often that I’m lost for words. But that’s pretty much what happened after my bungee jump in Whistler, BC Canada.
The last time I did a bungee jump was in Chiang Mai, Thailand. They bound my legs together and hoisted me 50 metres above a pond before letting me fling myself towards what felt like almost certain death. I was terrified, and I’m not sure whether it was the tightness of the restraint or the adrenaline, but my feet started tingling and didn’t stop for 3 days.
Actually I’m pretty sure it was trauma.
So when I got the chance to repeat the fun and games recently in Whistler, Canada, I have to admit I didn’t bite their hand off. It took a good 20 minutes to persuade me that it was a good idea, in fact. People jumped from the bridge one by one, and the more I saw, the more that contrary to what I expected, I wanted a slice.
And so, in-keeping with the theme of my blog ‘Adventure for the Unadventurous‘, I went for it. Rather than explain what it was like, why not check out my video, below. And you enjoy watching me make a tit out of myself, then why not follow my Facebook page? There’s more where that came from!
